Installation Instructions

Open the zipped Earthquake zip file and save to disk.
If you do not have WinZip you can get it at Winzip.com.
If you save it to your Program Files folder (suggested) you may want to create a shortcut on your desktop for easy launch of the program. With the Earthquake.exe saved to disk, click on the icon with the right mouse button, and select Create Shortcut from the popup menu. Then drag the shortcut to your desktop. Doubleclicking on the Earthquake.exe or Earthquake desktop shortcut launches the software, showing you an animated rotating globe of the Earth showing you all the recent quakes as listed by the USGS.
