Surf3D AGENT: GoogleUsenetAgent_1.xo WHAT IT DOES: Gathers web page extracts from GoogleUsenet search results WHAT ITS GOOD FOR: Drilling down to gather things from GoogleUsenet searches Getting whole sentence extracts from pages containing selected word terms (if you add the sentence text extraction code - see below) HOW IT WORKS: Drills down into each Usenet messages in your search results and extracts a paragraph of text Lets you rank the search according to word counts you want in different Metric channels HOW TO SET IT UP: Save-As the provided GoogleUsenetAgent_1.xo to a new name, such as MyGoogleUsenetAgent_1.xo If you want to extract sentences of particular note in any message: Type preferred text extract keywords into the Metric channel lines A and B and C such as refinement words that further qualify or classify the pages for ranking HOW TO USE IT: Start your Web Browser Go to this URL: http://www.Google.com Select Google Usenet search Select preferences at Google, and select 100 returns per search page, and submit Type in any search terms into the Google Search window and submit The Google search results are displayed in your web browser Now go to the Surf3D Agent window and click the GET-URL button Now click the right pointing triangle icon on the main Surf3D toolbar to start the agent After it drills down into a 100 results, open the report by clicking on the Page icon If you want to run the same agent later, you can do so without returning to Google.
